Mr. Clarence (Yuk Man) Chung Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Chung joined our board in October 2007 and has served as our chairman of the board since August 2008. He was appointed chief executive officer in October 2008. Mr. Chung is also a director of Melco International Development Limited, (HK:200), which he joined in December 2003. Mr Chung has many years of experience working in the financial industry in various capacities as chief financial officer, investment banker and merger and acquisitions specialist. He is also currently a director of Melco Crown Entertainment Limited, a company listed on the Nasdaq Global Market. Mr. Chung was named one of the “Asian Gaming 50 - 2009” by Inside Asian Gaming magazine.
Mr. Chung holds a master of business administration degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Mr. Andy (Kin Ming) Tsui Chief Accounting Officer
Mr. Tsui joined Elixir Gaming in July 2008 as vice president of finance and was appointed to the role of chief accounting officer in April 2009. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Tsui was the regional finance controller-Asia for Minteq International Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Minerals Technologies Inc. (NYSE: MTX) based in Shanghai since June 2005. From March 2003 to May 2005, he served as manager of financial analysis at the corporate office of Minteq International Inc. in New York.
Mr. Tsui holds a master of business administration degree from Baruch College, City University of New York and is a certified public accountant in the United States.
Ms. Mangini joined Elixir Gaming Technologies in June 2008 as senior vice president, corporate finance. She brings over ten years of equity financial experience and strong institutional investor relationships to the position. Ms. Mangini most recently worked at ThinkEquity, a Panmure Gordon Company, where she was a partner and senior research analyst responsible for coverage of companies in the domestic and international gaming sector. Prior to joining ThinkEquity in 2003, she was a vice president and research analyst at Merriman Curhan Ford & Company and at First Security Van Kasper (Wells Fargo Securities), where she covered consumer companies. Ms. Mangini began her career at Montgomery Securities in 1997.
Ms. Mangini holds a master of science in quantitative analysis from Boston University and a bachelor of arts in business administration from the University of San Diego.
Mr. Edmond Choi Vice President, Legal Counsel
Mr. Choi joined Elixir Gaming Technologies in March 2008 as the vice president legal (Asia). Mr. Choi is primarily responsible for providing advice and services to the Company on legal and corporate secretarial matters, with an emphasis on Asian business and affairs. Prior to joining the Company, he worked for Melco International Development for eight years and held the position of senior legal counsel.
Mr. Choi holds a bachelor of laws degree from the University of Hong Kong and is a qualified lawyer in Hong Kong.
Mr. Antonio Hernandez Vice President, Country Manager Philippines
Mr. Hernandez joined Elixir Gaming in 2007 and functions as the vice president and country manager of our Philippine gaming operations. In this capacity, he is responsible for the business development and overall operations of the Philippine office. Mr. Hernandez brings over 40 years professional experience in the Philippines, eight years of which were spent in key executive and managerial positions in the gaming industry. Prior to joining Elixir Gaming, he served as a sales and business development consultant for major gaming suppliers, such as IGT, in the Philippines. He was also the former CEO and President of Games Amusement Management Entertainment Sports, Inc (GAMES), a company engaged in the research and development of the game Pulltabs for the exclusive use of Philippine Gaming and Amusement Corporation (PAGCOR).
Mr. Hernandez obtained his bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of San Francisco in California.
Don Hallmark Regional Vice President, Slot Operations
Mr. Hallmark has nearly 20 years experience in the gaming industry. Prior to joining Elixir Gaming in October 2009, he was regional director of slots for Las Vegas Sands Corporation (NYSE: LVS), in which capacity he oversaw slot operations for all three of the company’s corporate properties including Macau and Singapore. In this capacity, Mr. Hallmark managed and analyzed performance reports of over 4,000 gaming devices and, in Singapore, focused on developing this new slot market. Prior to this, he held similar senior slot management positions at Las Vegas properties such as Tropicana Resort & Casino and Palms Casino & Resort.
